    10th Annual Buffalo & Erie County Chess Championships Location: Aloma D. Johnson Charter School, 15 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo 2 day USCF-sanctioned tournament. 5 games. All players must report and be paid by 9:30 AM Additional details to be announced soon!

    Every MON beginning 9/11/17 6 PM TO 8 PM
    National scholastic youth enrichment chess program Fall session begins. Affiliated with the Lockport YMCA 19 East Avenue, Lockport
  3. Magna Charter School Scholastic Tournament
    SAT 9/23/17 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
    Elmwood Village Charter School, 40 Days Park, Buffalo. Open to all K-12 players in WNY. 4 sections: Unrated, USCF600, USCF1000, USCF1400. 5 Games, Game 30, 5 sec delay. Trophies awarded to the top 2 players in each section. Support the Elmwood Village Charter School Chess Club by purchasing pizza and refreshments on-site.   1. Ages 4 and up
    We teach students as young as 4 years to adults. Chess helps all ages develop critical thinking skills, concentration, discipline, sportsmanship and deportment. Players at all levels are welcome to attend our classes and tournaments. Contact Coach McDuffie to discuss your participation
